Today NPower/Nasims Payment – NPower Payment List Names Of Those Who Should Not Take Part In The Program

NPower program has been a significant initiative aimed at empowering Nigerian youth by providing employment opportunities and skills development. However, recent developments have brought to light concerns regarding the accuracy of the NPower payment list, specifically in relation to individuals who may not be eligible to participate in the program.

Npower/Nasims Minister discovers several odd beneficiaries.

In today NPower/Nasims Payment, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu, revealed that the NPower payment list now includes individuals who should not have been part of the program.

During a conversation with Arise TV regarding recent developments in her ministry, Edu emphasized that many of the issues plaguing the NPower program have been addressed, and the ministry is actively working to resolve them.

She explained, “Upon our involvement with the NPower program, we identified several issues that necessitated a complete reevaluation of the strategy. One of these issues was the inclusion of individuals in the NPower program who did not meet the eligibility criteria for program funding.”

Furthermore, despite the availability of funds, the fund administrators did not make timely payments to NPower beneficiaries.

Moreover, there were individuals who should not have been included in the payment list, and some who were listed despite not actively providing any services but had enrolled solely to receive payments.

Furthermore, there were cases where individuals had concluded their employment with NPower over a year ago but still expected to receive payments. In such instances, the terms “exit plan” or “exit payment” were applied.

The committee we set up to investigate these matters is chaired by the secretary of the ministry, and we have recently received their initial report.

The minister further stated that the government’s goal is to lift a minimum of 20 million Nigerians out of poverty by the end of this year. This aligns with the administration’s pledge, in accordance with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), to uplift 133 million Nigerians from poverty by 2030.

The president is deeply devoted to assisting Nigerians in overcoming poverty and is genuinely concerned about their situation, aligning this commitment with his dedication to the United Nations.

What sets our approach apart is that we are not simply repeating the same methods and expecting different results.

We are actively exploring a range of innovative ideas, and we hold a strong belief that within the next year, we will be able to proudly announce that a minimum of 20 million Nigerians have been successfully lifted out of poverty.

Important things to know about Pending, Processing, and Paid

Some individuals might receive the payment while their status still indicates “processing.” There’s no need for concern because this status will be updated on the portal shortly. Rest assured, payments for September and October will be made before we establish a regular end-of-month payment schedule for all beneficiaries.

Now, for those who still see “No Payment Data” on their dashboard, please do not worry as all issues will be resolved. However, it’s essential to follow the instructions provided:

Firstly, if you are an Npower Batch C volunteer who has completed the Npower Batch C physical verification process, even if your payroll tab displays “no payment data,” you will receive your payment, and your payment data will be uploaded by Npower NASIMS.

On the other hand, if you haven’t completed your Npower physical verification and your payroll tab shows “no payment data,” unfortunately, you will not receive payment at this time.
