Tom Queba Scholarship Awards for South Africa Students: Hurray! Application calls for Tom Queba Scholarship Awards. The scholarship grant is open for the 2023/24 academic session to all exceptional South African Students.
Funded by the Canon Collins Trust, the scholarship aims to offer financial aid to students for up to two years of degree study and an opportunity to enhance students’ academic and leadership skills through organized events.
Tom Queba Scholarship Awards for South Africa Students
The Canon Collins Trust funds aim to support African development by awarding postgraduate scholarships to outstanding individuals from southern Africa. Their vision is of a southern Africa whose people have the freedom and capabilities to shape their future.
Selection Criteria:
- The applicants must be black South African female nationals, normally residing in South Africa.
- The applicants must be studying or applying to study at a master’s or doctoral level at a South African university.
Applicable Courses:
Students can apply for a Master’s or Doctoral program in Justice, Education, Humanities, and the Arts, Sciences, and Applied Sciences.

Application Process:
The applicants must apply for admission to their desired South African university. Scholarship applications must be made online.
Application Perks:
The winning students will be provided with a scholarship package of R85,000 for up to 2 years of study in their choice of a South African University.

Entry Criteria:
- The applicants must have a good first degree (minimum second class, upper division or equivalent) or are about to graduate in the year of application.
- Language Requirement: The students must meet the English language requirements of the South African University they wish to join.
